After Summer Get-Together Highlights

Around 70 representatives of the Austrian Business Community gathered in the heart of Tokyo on 18 September for the annual ABC After Summer Get-Together.
The diverse group of participants reflected the breadth of Austrian business activities in Japan, spanning consumer goods, engineering, mobility, and professional services. The evening provided an excellent platform for reconnecting after the summer break, exchanging ideas, and exploring new business opportunities.

A special highlight of the event was the impressive performance by Red Bull freestyle soccer and basketball athletes. Their creativity, skill, and energy inspired conversations beyond the usual business agenda and brought a unique and dynamic atmosphere to the event.

The Austrian Business Community in Japan continues to grow steadily. In the first half of 2026 alone, six new members joined the network, reflecting the positive momentum of Austrian business engagement in Japan. This positive trend reflects the growing engagement of Austrian companies in Japan and the continued advancement of economic cooperation between Austria and Japan.
