The Austrian Business Council ABC has been preparing for a COVID-19 workplace vaccination booster drive, once again together with TKP (organisation) and Sakura Hospitals (medical part).

Update (Feb 4, 2022): the minimum time between 2nd vaccination jab and booster shot on March 15/16/17 is reduced to 6+ months (was 7+months before)!

Quick notes:
1) location: the TKP Center in Ichigaya, gmap, next to Ichigaya station
2) handling fee by our partners: JPY 2,850 per person

3) the Moderna vaccination is used for the booster shots
4) vaccination booster dates: between 15 and 17 March (we will get back to you after your registration to fix one of these three dates)
5) eligibility:
– resident of Japan (has or will get public vaccination coupon). As in the first vaccination drive, any person participating in the vaccination booster drive needs to provide us their coupon at the time of the booster vaccination or send it to us later. We need to file these coupons with the respective medical authorities. It is no problem, if you do not yet have your vaccination coupon yet. Even if you do not have it at the time of the vaccination, no problem, you can send it to us even AFTER the booster vaccination takes place. Important is only that you are eligible for the vaccination coupons – if you have received them for the first two shots, it means you are eligible.
– over 18 years old at the date of the vaccination booster
– both first shots must have been with vaccines authorized in Japan (those are the vaccines from Pfizer, Moderna and AstraZeneca, NOT Johnson and Johnson)
– second shot is at least 6 months prior to booster date

Registration deadline: Monday, 24 January, 2022 (you have to commit only to the number of people, no individual names required at this point)

Note: the public vaccination system is also gearing up with many wards sending coupons out over the next few weeks. Please note that participation in the public vaccination drive is free of charge and might for some people be available earlier than the above booster dates.
